Deceased: 21/02/2006 in Haifa/ISRAEL

Nerves of steel, she was renowned for solid defence and quick attack. Born in Bucharest, she started to play table tennis when nine years old. During the Second World War, being Jewish, for five years she was not allowed to play table tennis. In 1945 it was very much starting again for her.
