Dutch Sportwoman of the Year in 1981 / 1985

Olympic Games: Participation in 1988 – 1996

Strong top spin play was the hallmark of the style of Bettine Vriesekoop. She spent time practising in China in 1977 and on her return was given special permission to play in the Dutch Men’s League. She is the owner of the Orde van Orange Nassau presented by the Queen of the Netherlands for her services to sport.
