Born: 30/12/1939 in Plugova/ROU

Born Maria Galopenta in 1939 Plugova, she married in 1960. A defensive player, she competed internationally for almost 30 years, from 1951 to 1980. At the 1953 World Championships in Budapest, she was the youngest player in the tournament.
